“I am forever in their debt, nothing I do or say will ever be enough to thank them for what they did for me on that horrific day. I live in a rural area, so the LIVES responders are a vital member of the community” – Lucy
On 15th July 2012, LIVES First Responders attended a road traffic collision just outside Market Rasen. One of the victims of the car crash, Lucy, was found unresponsive and in need of immediate medical treatment. Thanks to the generous donations from our Friends of LIVES, LIVES volunteers were able to treat Lucy quickly and, after a stay in the hospital, Lucy was able to go back home to her family and friends.
This story is all too familiar; LIVES responders attend around 60 emergency 999 calls per day. It’s likely that three of those calls will be a road traffic collision just like Lucy’s. We need your help so that we can continue to help people, no matter what their medical emergency may be, day or night, right across Lincolnshire.Donate to LIVES
