Ordinary people doing extraordinary things everyday
LIVES is excited to announce the launch of Everyday Heroes Week 2017! Our volunteers perform extraordinary acts of kindness each and everyday of the year. We want to celebrate our volunteers, tell their stories and shine a light on the time they invest to help others in a 999 medical emergency across the whole of Lincolnshire.
Our fantastic volunteers are normal everyday people from all walks of life who give up their time to help their community, and we have more than 700 of these people right across the county, helping on average 62 people a day. What our volunteers do, day in day out, regardless of time of day or weather, is incredible. That is why we are celebrating all our Everyday Heroes.
To celebrate Everyday Heroes Week we will be releasing videos to highlight the impact our volunteers make to others across Lincolnshire, and how LIVES has had an impact on them. We will also be attending a wide range of events throughout the week, with the aim to teach as many people CPR as possible, as part of the SAVE A LIFE campaign.
Below is one of our Everyday Heroes videos from last year.
