LIVES is looking to expand our Board of Trustees
We are looking to appoint 3-4 new trustees who will bring new skills and experience to our board. With significant growth in the last 12 months, we recognise the need to build strength and diversity of skill within our Board of Trustees.
Since 1970, we have gone from strength to strength, providing a range of services to ensure we can be there in a Lincolnshire 999 medical emergency. Our army of volunteer Responders and our growing team of staff allow LIVES to respond to around 15,000 medical emergencies every year.
We are privileged to have an active Board. Our trustees are people who are successful and well regarded in their chosen careers, committed to the aims of the charity, and able to share their judgement, experience, and connections with LIVES.
The Board is made up of the chair and trustees with the chief executive and medical director in attendance at board meetings. Trustees, based on their breadth of knowledge and experience, are responsible for setting the long term vision, strategy and charitable outcomes of the organisation, approving the plans and budgets for achieving them and monitoring performance against them.
We welcome applications from trustees with a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences although we are specifically looking for Trustees with a skills in one of the following areas:
- Senior legal experience
Please contact Nikki Cooke for more information and a copy of the Trustee Information pack for full details on the role, time commitments, and recruitment timeline. NCooke@LIVES.org.uk
Closing date for applications: Tuesday 29th September 2020.
LIVES values diversity and inclusion and the benefits this brings. We aim to appoint the most suitable candidate at all times and welcome applications from people from all different backgrounds.
