Leaving a Gift in your Will

Remember LIVES in your will and give us the gift of time.

None of us can predict the future, but whatever happens, today, tomorrow or years from now, LIVES would like to be there in a 999 medical emergency.

Leaving a gift in your will allows us to train, equip and respond to families in your community when they need us most. In a 999 medical emergency minutes matter, leaving us a gift in your Will allows LIVES to be the difference.

After you have looked after the people closest to you, a gift in your will means the world to us.

How your gift can leave a lasting legacy

Joely was just 18 when she was a passenger in a serious car accident. The vehicle was involved in a head on collision with a tractor and consequently resulted in being roadside with serious injuries. LIVES Clinical Director Simon Topham was first to respond to the 999 call, followed by Richard, one of LIVES level 3 responders.

LIVES responders are community based and this enables them to respond to emergency calls very quickly within our rural county. Being within the community also means that our responders may be your neighbour or friend. Much to Joely’s parents relief when they arrived at the scene.

Richard, who knew them was able to give them a reassuring nod that Joely was going to be OK. Doctor Topham saw to Joely and both himself and Richard were able to see to the patients before transferring to the ambulance when they arrived. These first minutes in any emergency are vital.
