Our network of dedicated Community First Responders across Lincolnshire has been and always will be at the core of what we do. Providing expert medical assistance in times of emergency is in our DNA.

This year we’re marking 25 years of our Community First Responder initiative with a brand-new campaign, 25 Years Matter. It’s a campaign that will focus on the people in our community who are keeping us safe and confident in the knowledge that should the worst happen, someone will be there, fast.

LIVES has a long and illustrious history that’s led us to where we are now, but without our Volunteer Community First Responders, we’d be nothing. Our responders have a habit of downplaying the amazing work, so this campaign is to say thank you, it’s to say well done and it’s to highlight that you are all incredible.

To kick the campaign off we spoke to Nikki Wells, one of our longest-standing Community First Responders who has been with us since 2001. Nikki’s seen it all, she’s seen us relocate three times to accommodate our growth as a charity, and our eye-catching re-brand and she remains with us today – as dedicated as ever, committed to saving LIVES. I can’t believe we’ve had 25 years of community responding in Lincolnshire. The role has developed so much over that time, but still, at its core, it’s just one neighbour helping another. The time has flown by. I can’t wait to see what the next few years bring. Nikki Wells CFR.
