Responder stories
We are delighted to announce that LIVES has been selected as one of Lincoln City Football Club’s charity partners for 2025, alongside the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and the Lincoln City Foundation.
This incredible partnership was made possible thanks to the amazing support of Imps fans, who voted from a shortlist of seven charities. Over 1,600 votes were cast, with LIVES receiving one of the highest totals.
Throughout the year, Lincoln City will support LIVES with a variety of fundraising activities and events designed to raise awareness and vital funds for our lifesaving work. Initiatives will include matchday bucket collections, appearances by players, and special fundraising events, all helping to highlight the critical role our volunteer first responders play in the community.
Nickki Cooke, chief executive of LIVES, said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to be chosen as one of Lincoln City’s charities of the year for 2025. Our volunteer community first responders attended 2,578 medical incidents in 2024, so it means so much to us that the Imps fans will help us continue our work through 2025. This partnership will make a huge difference and help us carry on providing life-saving care in local communities when minutes really matter. We’re excited to work alongside Lincoln City throughout the year to raise awareness and make a lasting impact together.”
We’re grateful to Lincoln City Football Club and their supporters for recognising the importance of the work we do. Together, we’ll ensure that more lives are saved across Lincolnshire when it matters most.
