Responder stories
ITV Calendar News recently featured a story showcasing the incredible dedication and lifesaving work of our LIVES volunteer first responders. In 2024 alone, our responders attended to an astounding 2,578 patients across Lincolnshire, providing crucial medical support in times of emergency.
As part of the feature, ITV spoke to Lewis Baker, one of our dedicated Community First Responders, who shared his personal experience of what it’s like to respond to emergencies. Lewis offered valuable insight into the challenges and rewards of being on the frontline, highlighting the vital role our volunteers play in delivering immediate care and reassurance to those in distress.
This recognition from ITV Calendar News is a fantastic opportunity to shine a light on the incredible impact our volunteers have within their communities. Whether it’s providing lifesaving interventions or simply offering comfort and support in critical moments, their commitment makes a real difference every day.
We are immensely proud of each and every one of our volunteers who give their time and skills selflessly to help others. Their unwavering dedication ensures that LIVES can continue to be there when it matters most, providing emergency medical care across Lincolnshire.
