Double your difference this Christmas.

What and when is the Big Give?

We need your help to unlock over £11,000 of donations that have already been pledged. What this is means is that when you donate this Christmas through our Big Give campaign your donation ultimately gets doubled – doubling the impact we can make as a charity.

Big Give runs match funding campaigns for charities and special causes at key moments across the year. By connecting charities to funders (like philanthropists, foundations or corporates) and the public. They also help them double their donations. And, in doing so, make an extraordinary difference to the world’s biggest challenges. Big Give is also a registered charity (1136547)

The Big Give takes place over the course of one week in December – the 3rd to 10th to be exact. Within this period anything you give through our Big Give campaign will get match funded by businesses and organisations that, in total, have already pledged over £11,000.

YOUR’RE DOUBLING THE DIFFERENCE TIM CAN MAKE

Tim has been responding at LIVES for over 10 years and also works at EOC (Emergency operations centre) helping to dispatch ambulances and responders to medical emergencies.

All of the kit Tim uses to respond to medical emergencies is funded through your donations.

“I thought – I could do this! I went along and signed up!”

How does The Big Give work?

Donate to our Big Give campaign to help us fund responders kit bags

Help us to match fund and unlock over £11,000 that’s already been pledged.

Your donation ultimately then gets doubled – meaning we can double the impact it makes!

DOUBLE OUR IMPACT

We urge you to donate in to our Big Give campaign, as it means that your donation will go further this Christmas. As a charity, it’s the best gift we could wish for. Our Christmas advert gives you a glimpse of how you’re not only helping LIVES by donating, but your community when they need us most.

In December 2023 our Community First Responders attended over 200 medical emergencies. 16 of those involved a paediatric patient (under 18).

Your donation means more than ever. Our responders are here to help you – could you donate to help them?
