There are many exciting ways to get involved with fundraising at LIVES. Not only could you do something different, but you will also be directly helping others in your community in their greatest time of need. Below are a few ways you can get involved.
Are you a team player with good communication skills, well networked with a local knowledge of your community? Do you love to socialise and meet people from all different backgrounds? We’re looking for organised, self motivated people who have the ability to delegate and a genuine passion and enthusiasm for fundraising and the work of LIVES to join our ever growing team of fundraisers and Co-ordinate like minded people in your area,
Can you volunteer your time to help raise awareness and funds for LIVES? We’re looking for enthusiastic people to join our team as community fundraising volunteers. There are lots of ways you can help including:
- Helping to run a fundraising and awareness stand at local events
- Attending cheque presentations and thanking our supporters face-to-face
- Giving short talks about LIVES and our work
- Volunteering at collection days
- Volunteering at fundraising events and joining our cheering stations.
Our community fundraising volunteers are part of a network across Greater Lincolnshire – representing LIVES in their local areas and raising awareness of our work.
Collection Tin Co-Ordinator
If you’re a real people person and can strike up a conversation with anyone in your local community, our collection tin coordinator role could be the one for you!
This would require you to visit local shops and businesses and ask them if they would like a LIVES Charity collection tin. Every few months you would be responsible for swapping the tins for an empty one and returning the full ones to us
Give In Celebration
You can use your celebratory event to support LIVES by requesting donations instead of presents. Whether it be a christening, wedding or a special birthday – you can set up your own tribute page on Just giving in your own or a loved one’s name.
Many people now choose to remember a loved one by donating, in their memory, to a favourite cause. The death of a family member or friend can be one of the most difficult experiences to go through. Making a donation in a loved one’s memory is one way of celebrating their life – by contributing to a cause that makes a valuable difference to people of Lincolnshire.
Fundraising community groups
Are you a community group looking to fundraise for LIVES?
Anyone can support us by fundraising within their local community. Whatever type of community group you are, why not get your members involved and help us do more to make a real difference to the lives of people of Lincolnshire?
You can be as creative as you like when coming up with ideas. Why not organise a collection at a local supermarket, or even a sporting event. Do you enjoy music? How about organising a charity gig?
In return for your support, our team would be delighted to offer talks about the charity and the work we do in supporting it, tours of the charity, as well as details of our latest appeals and how the money you raise could be spent.
Unique Auctions of Lincoln provide a complete house clearance service and hold charity sales. The proceeds going to various local and national charities. Please call 01522 690444 or firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
Do Your Own Thing
Whatever you have planned: a BBQ or birthday party; raffle or a row-athon; climb or concert, we’re here to support you!
We’d love to hear about your creative fundraising plans so whatever you have in mind, or even if you haven’t decided yet, please register your interest with us and we’ll get in touch with you to discuss. We can point you in the right direction with insurance and legalities as well as logos and branded resources!
