Responder stories
This year we’re marking 25 years of our Community First Responders with a brand-new campaign, 25 Years Matter. It’s a campaign that will focus on the people in our community who are keeping us safe and confident in the knowledge that should the worst happen, someone will be there; fast. LIVES has a long and illustrious history that’s led us to where we are now, but without our Volunteer Community First Responders, we’d be nothing.
Our responders have a habit of downplaying the amazing work, so this campaign is to say thank you, it’s to say well done and it’s to highlight that you are all incredible.
As part of our 25 Years Matter campaign we’re inviting you to meet one of our Community First Responders every month. This month we invite you to meet Linda.
“I’ve been able to help in my community!” Linda
Up until December 2023 Linda had been responding with LIVES for 13 years, however now she focuses more on educating community and groups on CPR! If that wasn’t enough Linda is also the District Co-ordinator for The South-West! We caught up with Linda to ask her a a few questions about her role at LIVES, what motivates her to respond and why you should support LIVES!
