For all of us, one day will be our last day. There’s no avoiding it.
But, by remembering us in your will, you can carry on supporting us after that time comes for you. Do that today and you’ll be helping us make sure, for all the patients whose lives we help save, today doesn’t have to be that day for them. What better legacy is there?

It’s easy to leave a gift from your estate to LIVES, but as always, we’d recommend that you:
- Seek professional assistance from a reputable family solicitor before making any changes to your will.
- Discuss your intentions with your family and friends. As part of the conversation, you may also want to talk to your loved ones about the ways they can support LIVES in memory of you. There are several ways they can do this, including making arrangements for a collection for LIVES at your funeral.
Remember us in your will. It will mean that your kindness and generosity will live on at LIVES, long after you’re gone.

Coming together to say a final goodbye to someone you love and celebrate the life they’ve lived, is of course, one of the most moving experiences any of us goes through.
Imagine though, if that day could end by giving someone else a chance to go on living. What more meaningful way could there be to pay tribute to the one you’ve lost?
There are several small things you can do that could make a huge difference to the people we help save:
- In the funeral announcement/notification, ask friends and family to make a donation to LIVES, instead of buying funeral flowers. It’s an act that will long outlive any wreath and has the potential to help us continue saving lives in the future. We can provide you with a link to a dedicated donation portal, which you share with friends and family who knew the deceased. After making a donation, they will also be given the opportunity to leave a short, written dedication, share their feelings and leave a lasting record of their memories.
- When planning the funeral of your loved one, speak to your funeral director and express your wishes to nominate LIVES as the beneficiary of the service collection.
We’ve made the process as easy as possible. Once donations have been collected and safely deposited, your funeral director will be able to transfer the proceeds directly to LIVES through our secure online portal.
